PASADENA - Advocates for tough new regulations on older liquor stores made their case Tuesday to members of the Assembly Committee on Governmental Organization at a special meeting held at Pasadena City College.
Chairman Jerome Horton, D-Los Angeles, convened the committee to discuss legislation from state Sen. Jack Scott, D-Pasadena, that would allow cities and counties to require liquor stores established before 1988 to conform with local land-use laws.See the full content of this document
