California Philharmonic Orchestra to Protest Ouster From Arboretum

ARCADIA - The California Philharmonic Orchestra said it will protest a decision by the county to end a 15-year run of concerts at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden at a press conference Saturday. The response came after a last-minute notice by the county Wednesday that the orchestra will not be invited back.

Orchestra officials said the five-concert season this year will continue at the arboretum as they continue to address the unexpected action by the county, which came without explanation.
