LA MIRADA -- The city's Family Resource Center will have its next Helping Hands Volunteer Program on Saturday. Residents knowledgeable in skilled maintenance trades are needed to assist with home repair projects for the elderly, low-income and other disabled residents.
Helping Hands volunteers give their time to paint, weed, plant trees, install windows, and house clean assisting persons in need. In addition to home maintenance volunteers can also provide companionship for isolated and homebound residents.See the full content of this document
