ROWLAND HEIGHTS - As members of this 50,000-resident unincorporated community gear up to try to form a city, the leader of Rowland Heights' most important advocacy group has quit his post.

David Rodriguez, former president of the Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council, stepped down last month. He cited disagreement with coordinating council members over how it should serve Rowland Heights.
