SANTA FE SPRINGS - A 29-year-old Whittier man was arrested Thursday and booked on suspicion of several charges stemming from a traffic collision that killed an 81-year-old Montebello woman last week.

Jonathan Lozano was arrested at his home Thursday morning by California Highway Patrol officers, who arrived as Lozano was leaving for work. He was booked on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter, reckless driving and participating in a speed contest, said CHP Officer Tom Pontes.
