MONTEBELLO - Saying dragged out debates are "not good government," Montebello Mayor Bob Bagwell introduced a package of measures he said will streamline council meetings by reducing the time for public comments.

Among other things, Bagwell proposed limiting public comments to three minutes. Now, residents have up to five minutes to speak from the dais during the public comments part of the council's meetings.
