SOUTH WHITTIER -- The theft of $16,000 worth of new computers and printers at Mayberry Park two weeks ago will mean children and seniors might have fewer field trips to go on and there will be less money to buy new equipment, officials said Tuesday.

County parks officials said they will have to dip into money earmarked for other projects and programs slated for this year and next at Mayberry in order to replace the nine computers and two printers stolen Aug. 5 from a computer learning center.
