WHITTIER - The Whittier City School District Board of Education voted 5-0 Wednesday to place a $55 million bond measure on the Nov. 6, 2012 ballot.

Property owners would pay an extra $30 per $100,000 assessed value. Thus, someone whose home was assessed at $300,000 would pay an extra $90.
